We are currently looking for a Civil Site Manager to join their Construction team.

You will be part of a national-level renewable energy projects focused on the construction and commissioning of large-scale photovoltaic systems. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a high-impact, future-forward projects that supports Bulgaria’s and Europe’s clean energy goals.

Your role:

• Conduct site surveys to assess ground, topography, and environmental factors, and coordinate preparation (clearing, grading, excavation)
• Oversee implementation of civil engineering designs (foundations, solar panels, infrastructure) and supervise construction to meet design standards
• Collaborate with geotechnical engineers for foundation stability and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Perform inspections, audits, and coordinate with QA/QC for corrective actions; address design or quality issues as they arise
• Manage resources and maintain project schedules with Site Manager, coordinating with contractors and suppliers for timely completion
• Document civil engineering activities and provide regular progress reports; assist with as-built drawings and project handover documents.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders, addressing inquiries on civil engineering aspects to ensure smooth project execution

What you bring to the role:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with 4+ proven construction management experience (solar project experience a plus)
• In-depth knowledge of Bulgarian solar installation standards, regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements
• Strong leadership skills, able to build alignment and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors
• Proficient in budgeting, cost management, contractual documentation, and technical specifications
• Collaborative skills to work cross-functionally and effectively with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams
• Solid understanding of construction law, business practices, and mechanical engineering within renewable energy
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Construction Management Software (ideally Procore
