We are currently looking for a HSE Engineer to join their Construction team.
You will be part of a national-level renewable energy projects focused on the construction and commissioning of large-scale photovoltaic systems. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a high-impact, future-forward projects that supports Bulgaria’s and Europe’s clean energy goals.
Your role will encompass
- Responsible for maintaining, and monitoring the project specific HSSE documentation for the project (HSE Forms, RAMS, HSSE Plan, Traffic Management Plan, Waste Management Plan, Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc.)
- Liaises with Managers regarding environmental and H&S issues.
- Checking and preparing H&S weekly and monthly site reports and keeping on top of
- paperwork
- Perform inspections on construction site at least once per week to ensure compliance.
- Collects all HSSE documentation from all Subcontractors.
- Provide and inspect PPE, waste management equipment etc.
- Leads accident and incident investigations.
- Ensure training needs are identified, delivered, and monitored.
- Promotes and maintains a zero-accident policy.
- Ensure adequate welfare facilities always exist on site. Report defects and liaise with
- suppliers.
What you bring to the role:
- Certificate for Construction site Coordinator.
- Able to work in a cold/hot environment.
- Know to operate in Microsoft office environment is required.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal direction/supervision.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- 1 -3 years proven HSE experience in related field.
- Experience in energy projects is considered an advantage.
- University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering is a plus.
- Knowledge of Bulgaria HSE Legislation is mandatory.
- Fluent English and native Bulgarian
- Flexibility to relocate to the project site.
